PRULUDE :
Tyendakuda is one prime Grampanchayat under Garadpur Block in Patkura Assembly Constituency under Patkura Police Station in Kendrapada district, situated in the north west boarder of the constituency. It is adjacent to Tirtol, Jagatsinghpur and Mahanga Assembly Constituency.
EXECELLENCE OF COMMUNAL HARMONY :
Inhabitants are mainly Hindus and Muslims. It has the distinction of having very cordial communal harmony between Hindus residing in over 15 villages and muslims residing in 10 Bastis.
IMPORTANCE :
Tyendakuda is famous for its literacy ratio in Odisha. The ratio is higher as compared to that of the state's.
PUBLIC UTILITY FACILITIES :
For over 7 decades, Tyendakuda is having a sub-post office, Health care centres and a High School.
SPRITUAL CENTRE :
There is an ashram of Baya Abadhoot at Mala where spiritual congregations are held every year during Baisakh Purnima.
FAZLE HAQUE HIGH SCHOOL :
• Fazle Haque High School is the pride of Tyandakuda, it is one of the oldest educational institution in the Kendrapada District.
• Preliminarily, it was Tyendakuda L.P. School established in 1880.
• Upgraded to Tyendakuda Up School in 1885.
• Upgraded to Tyendakuda M.E. School in 1888.
• Upgraded to High School in 1943.
• The High School was named after Sayed Fazle Haque of Raisunguda, Salipur- the then District Board Member of undevided Cuttack District. In-Charge of Education. It was named as a token of thankful obligations for his donation of Rs.5000/- for the school.
• First batch of students appeared H.S.C. examination under Utkal University in 1947.
• It was declared as Government High School in the year, 1998.
• Alumna : The following great sons of Odisha were the Alumni of F.H. High School.

Bhubaneswar to Cuttack to Tarapur on Cuttack-Paradeep S.H. from Tarapur to Tyendakura after crossing over the Mahanadi Bridge on the left side . Total Kilometers by road – 70 kms.
